I had a job interview and spoke with Coach Alex about it and asked if he had any interviewing tips, he took a look at the job description and came up with a mock interview for me. Considering the fact that I thought I was ready, I was stomped by the mock interview he came up with.

He gave me tips in areas I was lacking affirmation, pointing out the areas based on the job description I should make certain I harboured on, helping me rephrase points to make sure the message I was trying to send across did come through.

He advised me on how confidence inevitably shines through during an interview, and that I should speak with more assertiveness in my voice.

Armed with all of these tips, I went in for that interview more confident than I had ever been for an interview; I relaxed and gave it my all. I was offered the job!

First time when I met Alex, I thought it would be one of those coaching meeting, and that's it. I was completely wrong.
